Fish Habitat Action Grants Now Open

Applications are now open for grants of up to $40,000 as part of the NSW Government’s Habitat Action Grant program for projects that improve fish habitat in your area.

Projects of direct benefit to recreational fishing will be given preference.  Previous projects include remediation of barriers to fish movement, re-snagging waterways, bank stabilisation works, wetland, mangrove and saltmarsh rehabilitation, weed control and re-establishment of native vegetation along waterways and opening floodgates.
