Platypus can be found throughout the Monaro – in the Numeralla, Murrumbidgee & Snowy Rivers as well as smaller creeks such as Cooma Creek.
Waterwatch is running surveys throughout August to help learn more about platypus populations on selected rivers in the surrounding region.
