Friends of Grasslands – Best of the Monaro TSR tour

Sat-Sun 14-15 Nov: Best of Monaro TSRs weekend

FOG will be visiting a number of Travelling Stock Reserves on the Monaro over two
days. Here is a short summary from them.

On Saturday we will visit three, possibly four, TRS and on Sunday two and
finish early. On Saturday we plan to visit Gedzederick TSR (Berridale), Maffra Lake
TSR (Maffra) and Ravensworth TSR (Maffra Rd). On Sunday we plan to visit Top
Hut TSR (Adaminaby) and Iron Pot TSR (Kosciuszcko Rd) or Rhinefalls TSR (near
Adaminaby). An early start on Saturday is predicated so most participants will
arrive on Friday evening. We plan to stay at the Cooma caravan park, but there are
also numerous hotels or motels. There are plenty of choices for restaurants in Cooma
for Friday and Saturday evenings. You may join us on either or both days. We expect
to see some wonderful flowering and learn what is being done to manage these
